virtualfab provides fabless operations to scale hardware enabled business models.

The purpose of this documentation is to enable customers of virtualfab to easily integrate the outsourced execution of assembly, maintenance and fulfillment tasks into their own business processes using virtualfab.

While this document gives a structural overview, REST API reference provides technical in depth information for developers.

virtualfab customers focus on high quality customer service and sales support. They maintain a close relationship with their customers. All information and actions are somehow structured and executed using ERP or CRM software. Whereas the physical execution of tasks such as product configuration, packaging, maintenance and documentation shall be performed by an outsourced execution partner. Yet, all tasks and shipments executed must be documented in w well-structured manner.  That is the core functionality of virtualfab: provide an API driven way of executing operations.
